Job Title: Telesales Executive

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Telesales Executive is responsible for generating sales leads and converting them into customers over the phone.
  • He/she will engage with potential customers, provide information about products or services, address inquiries, and close sales deals.
  • Telesales Executives will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and contributing to the growth and profitability of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Contact potential customers via telephone to promote products or services.
  • Identify and qualify sales leads through cold calling, warm calling, and follow-up calls.
  • Present and explain product or service information to customers.
  • Address customer inquiries, provide accurate and relevant information, and resolve any concerns or issues.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Maintain customer databases and update customer information.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and techniques.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to the sales manager.
  • Continuously update product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends and competitors.

Education and Experience Required

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND.
  • 3 (minimum) years of a proven experience in telesales, preferably in the telecommunication industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Training or certification in sales techniques or customer service is a plus.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Persuasive and convincing ability.
  • Active listening skills to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Resilience and ability to handle rejection.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Knowledge Required:

  • Understanding of sales principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with the products or services being offered.
  • Knowledge of customer service practices.
  • Basic knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitors.

Remuneration
N150,000 (Gross).
