Job Title: Per Boiler (Rice Mill)

Job Description
- Monitoring steam boilers and safety devices
- Adjusting boiler controls
- Operating auxiliary equipment and performing routine maintenance
- Following correct boiler operation procedures/established procedures
- Monitoring steam pressure on high-pressure steam boilers
- Maintaining boiler plant equipment/maintaining high-pressure boilers
- Reading pressure gauges
- Ensuring boilers are operating efficiently
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mechanical equipment and mechanical maintenance
- Adjusting gas controls on natural gas systems
- Replacing worn or damaged boiler system and piping system components, such as defective valves
- Checking fuel levels
- Monitoring cooling towers
- Repairing steam engines
- Using safety equipment/following safety procedures
- Using forced draft systems
- Fault-finding in electrical systems, mechanical systems, and heating systems
- Using equipment such as air compressors
- Repairing air conditioning systems
- Connecting boiler feed water
- Overseeing boiler plant operations and boiler rooms
- Collaborating with Stationary Engineers
- Working in physically demanding environments
- Troubleshoot problems and make necessary repairs
- Testing water quality/analysing water chemistry
- Using recording devices
- Performing regular inspections of ash room
- Moving heavy objects
- Maintaining accurate records
- Spotting potential issues
- Carry out maintenance in the machine in minor cases based on managers' recommendations.
- Assist the maintenance department in carrying out maintenance on the machine in major cases, based on the manager's recommendation.
- Checking the gages both pressure and temperature.
- Taking hourly records of functional boilers.
- Regulating the TDS in a boir water by blowing down when necessary.
