Job description

  • Admin and technical officer for a dialysis Centre, attending to the daily operation of the Centre including technical, administrative, maintenance, health and safety, record keeping, and customer service activities.
  • The admin/technical officer is the backbone of the administrative operations of the Centre: they will manage the Centre's equipment, consumables, and general supplies.
  • They will also handle essential administrative and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • The admin / technical officer will manage non-clinical operations to ensure that the Centre operates efficiently, and support the clinical team.
  • Manage reception and registration of patients.
  • Manage patient invoicing, payment collection, and issuance of receipts.
  • Ensure complete record keeping of patient information, invoicing, and payments using the Company’s IT system.
  • Manage all documentation and record-keeping about the Centre.
  • Manage the Centre’s inventory and procurement process.
  • Manage and coordinate the cleaning and laundry activities of the Centre.
  • Manage the Centre’s machines, including testing, operation, readiness, equipment safety, cleaning, and coordination of maintenance.
  • Ensure regular preventive maintenance of all equipment and machines.
  • Coordinate with the Centre’s medical staff to ensure they receive the required support to serve the patients.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Ensure adherence to the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide timely, detailed, and frequent reporting to the Company’s accountant and head office.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including a minimum of 3 years as a dialysis technician
  • Experience in fulfilling administrative duties including reporting
  • Experience with IT systems
  • Experience managing healthcare equipment including dialysis machines
  • Strong worth ethic and capacity for meeting deadlines.

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 monthly (Open to negotiation).
