Job Description

• The Laboratory Scientist will be expected to provide first-class services by applying skills and scientific knowledge to support accurate medical diagnoses and the wellbeing of our patients. In this role, you will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in diagnosing, monitoring, treating and preventing disease.

Job Description

• Collect relevant samples from patients using the right equipments and techniques.
• Explain sample collecting procedures and time frame for result collection to ensure a smooth process.
• Receive, organise and store test samples in accordance with safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample.
• Perform diagnostic tests on samples collected,
• Review and document results for accuracy.
• Prepare reagents
• Perform and document equipment maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science
• Valid practicing license
• Post NYSC with 1 year+ experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
• Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Ability to both function independently and collaborate with a team.
•  Must be resident in Abuja and comfortable commuting to work in dei-dei.
