Job Title: Network Engineering / Cloud / PCN Services (Field) Personnel - Level 3

Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical training. CompTIA A+, ITIL V3 Foundation, and relevant technical certifications (MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate): Windows Server 2012/2016, HCE - Hitachi Certified Expert (Performance, Storage virtualization, Compute Platform, Enterprise, or VSP G/F), VCP6-DCV (VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization), Microsoft Windows 10 Desktop Support & Office 365 Certification (MCSA)).
- Experience: Ten years of computer-related support experience; considerable work experience in area of specialty. Good working knowledge of shell (PowerShell) scripting is mandatory. Programming skills is an added advantage.
The infrastructure telecom support service scope includes, but not limited to:
- Provision of technical IT infrastructure support to all Company locations. Perform all job functions and cover all Company telecommunications systems as may be required (existing and future acquisitions):
- Configure and deploy specialized IT Telecoms solutions as may be required.
- Installation and support of chevron platform standard hardware (switches, routers, firewall, etc.)
- Provide technical advice to the Company in areas of Contractor’s core IT support role
- Installation and maintenance of specialized server-based applications.
- Perform any other work in CNL Locations as may be directed by the company in the service area of IT infrastructure support.
- Health monitoring of IT infrastructure including:
- Data Center environment
- MAN/WAN link connectivity; utilization and capacity management.
- MAN/WAN links availability and reliability.
- Equipment up time and Health Status
- Administration of Network Monitoring systems and Database repository for capturing links metrics.
- Monitoring of installed LAN and WAN devices like Cisco Switches and Routers and Palo Alto firewalls etc.
- Any other IT systems
- Installation and administration of LAN, MAN and WAN and WAN optimization devices like Cisco Switches, routers and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Provide voice and data support service to users at offices, residences, production platforms, drilling rigs, FPSOs and work badges.
- Installation and maintenance of Telecommunication equipment such as microwave radio, VSAT and 2-way radio communication systems.
- Installation and administration of Company voice environment like CUCM and UC for Cisco IP Phones and voicemail services respectively.
- Installation and Maintenance of fibre Optics and Optical line equipment, SOC and FOC Infrastructures, DC power systems etc.
- Monitor NetApp Storage devices- On-command/Cloud Insights and On Command Console monitoring/Operations Manager support.
- Hardware Failures: Replace faulty NetApp Power supply & failed NetApp Storage Disk
- Technology vendor management for failures on NetApp Storage devices
- Manage NetApp Snapshots for storage volumes.
- NetApp capacity planning and management
- Upgrade NetApp ONTAP and hardware platform where applicable; decommission legacy NetApp.
- Auto support acknowledgements
- Perform assessment of HPC Storage architecture and solution.
Salary Range
N750,000 - N1,000,000 / month
