Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Responsible for computing and classifying records and verifying numerical data necessary for maintaining accounting records.
- Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and cheques to substantiate business transactions.
- Verifies and post business transactions such as fund received and disbursed and totals account to ledgers.
- Audit invoices against purchase orders, research discrepancies and communicate to business manager.
- Prepares weekly, monthly vouchers, invoices, cheques, income statement report and other records.
- Answering questions related to account procedures from vendors, employees or customers
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies.
- Manage tax related matters such as PAYE company income tax, annual return fillings etc
Requirements
- Candidate must possess B.Sc/HND Accounting
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience
- Smart with I can do attitude.
