Job Description

• To undertake all aspects of financial management, including Corporate Accounting, Regulatory & Financial Reporting, Budget & Forecasts Preparation, development of Internal Control policies & procedures and financial risk management. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Job Summary

• Oversee all company accounts and investments. Manage all accounting operations including Billings, Invoicing, General ledgers, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Prepare budget and monthly management accounts. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Keep proper books and records to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and manage profitability.
• Manage bank accounts and cash flows
• Ensure ledgers are posted on timely basis and reviewed monthly.
• Ensure all financial transactions (e.g. payment to vendors) are properly recorded, filed, and reported
• Ensure freight payments are paid on time after proper verification
• Prepare financial accounts for Audit & collaborate to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
• Manage Employee office attendance, time keeping and holiday records. Validate inter-company balances on a monthly basis.
• Arrange Salary payments
• Setup systems to manage the accounting of purchases, sales and shipping.
• Support month-end and year-end close process and Cut-Off procedures. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Requirements and Skills

• Must possess a Degree in Accounting, Business Management or related disciplines.
• Must be a Fellow of ICAN or ACCA
• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller for at least 10 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
• Thorough knowledge and display of accounting principles and procedures
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
