Job Title: Construction / Design Project Manager

Summary Descriptions
  • Under Management's direction, oversees, supervises, and coordinates the management of all stages of projects, coordinates assigned activities with various divisions of the company.
Key Responsibilities
  • Directs, coordinates, and reviews the work plan for upcoming cinemas design and renovation. Monitors work flow; reviews and evaluates work products, methods, and procedures; meets with staff to identify and resolve problems.
  • Supervises and reviews the design of assigned construction projects for clarity and constructability; directs the preparation and/or review of plans, specifications, estimates, and contracts for assigned projects.
  • Participates in the development and administration of assigned project budget; forecasts funds needed for equipment, materials, and supplies; monitors and approves expenditures; recommends adjustments as necessary.
  • Reviews project plans and proposals, then works with management to develop project objectives.
  • Identifies project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project. Calculates time frames and sequences the stages of the project.
  • Prepares and distributes a description and timeline of the project.
  • Studies product design, customer requirements performance standards, then determines project specifications. Presents cost estimates and performance standards. Conducts tests assuring safe and satisfactory product performance.
  • Prepares status reports and regularly monitors budgets, contractors and schedules. Allocates project resources appropriately; approves expenditures; employee contractor contracts. Keeps an accurate record and electronic data base of all elements of the projects.
  • Presents procedures, rules and regulations to those involved in the project; maintains a safe, clean and productive environment through enforcing procedures. Maintains project integrity and reputation through compliance with state and federal regulation
Qualifications and Specifications
  • A B.Tech in Building Studies, Building Engineering or Building Management or a HND / Degree in Construction Management or Architecture.
  • Must be proficient with creating 2D and 3D drawings (Preferably Solid Works)
  • A minimum of Five (5) years' experience of managing elements of construction projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
