Job Title: Head of Logistics (Supermarket)

Position Summary

• The Head Logistics, is responsible to oversee and optimize the entire logistics operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing logistics strategies to improve overall supply chain efficiency.
• Leading and coordinating logistics teams, including warehouse managers, transportation coordinators, and distribution staff.
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure favorable terms.
• Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and safety.
• Collaborating with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to align logistics with business objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is often required. A Master's Degree
• 10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management is typically necessary, with a proven track record of success in managing complex operations.
• Strong leadership and management abilities are crucial to lead a team and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• The head of logistics must be able to analyze data and trends to optimize processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Effective communication skills are essential to collaborate with different departments, stakeholders, and vendors.
