Sinic Engineering Limited is an Engineering Procurement and Construction Company to Segilola Gold Mining Project located at Ilesha, Osun State.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Control / Material Officer

Location: Ilesha, Osun

Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints and specifications
• Monitoring operations to ensure that they meet production standards
• Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process
• Inspecting, testing, or measuring materials or products being produced
• Operating electronic inspection equipment and software
• Verify all equipment is calibrated correctly
• Review blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods.
• Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
• Assessment of finished products to accept or reject as the case may be.
• Removing all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
• Reporting inspection and testing data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected.
• Conduct sampling and analysis of materials.

Requirements

• B.Sc in Chemical Engineering or other related fields is preferred.
• 3 - 5 years relevant experience in the mining industry.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to read blueprints, technical documents, and manuals.
• Keen attention to detail
• Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications
• Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers etc.
