Job Qualifications & Skills Required

• B.Sc. in Accounting, finance with certification as a Chartered accountant with a minimum of four years of relevant experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

Job Competency Requirements:

• Ability to manage financial records and maintain accurate bookkeeping.
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Ability to process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Ability to reconcile bank statements, ensure accuracy in financial data and assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budget projections.
• Ability to monitor and manage the company’s budget and expenses, handle payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement.
• Ability to assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits and provide financial advice and support to management as needed.
