Job Title: Inventory Accountant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Details

• We are seeking a smart, result driven individuals with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detailed oriented and enthusiastic for the role of Inventory Accountant in a Food Industry

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile inventory records
• Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies
• Ensuring that all inventory transaction details are recorded accurately in an accounting system
• Review invoices for accuracy and coding before forwarding them for payment
• Generate reports detailing inventory levels, cost of goods sold, and other relevant metrics
• Ensure that all production costs are properly taken in the cost of sales and inventory costs.

Requirements

• B.Sc in Accounting, Finance or any related course
• 3-4 years of relevant working experience in role above
• Candidate must be smart and good with figures
• Experience in food industry is an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word,and MS Power Point
• Ability to work under pressure
• Proximity is very key.
