Job Title: 5G Business Consultant

Location: Lagos

Purpose of the Role

• As a Business Consultant of Huawei Southern Africa Region, you will focus on supporting telco operators on 5G business planning and marketing execution with your domain expertise and / or knowledge assets to influence Telco customers to increase their investment with 5G and monetise the investments already made..
• The role will cover SA, Nigeria and Kenya.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the sales strategy and implement tactical plans.
• Engages effectively with customer: Network planning, implementation, marketing and promotion, service provisioning and maintenance
• Closely engage with decision makers within key customers in Sub-Saharan Africa region, articulating Huawei’s innovative vision.
• Directly engage with key customers in the Sub-Saharan region to drive large, complex deals.
• Closely engage with the R&D HQ and Huawei regional R&D team to customize and innovate solutions fits for the region.
• Helping the sales teams across the region to reach targets by motivating, mentoring and developing the Account Managers and Solution Managers.
• Drive annual sales within your area of responsibility with significant growth YoY
• knowledgeable and informed communication regarding Huawei s’ products, services and direction
• Generating ideas and suggestions, solution design, responsible for technical proposals
• Conducting research into the industry, including competitive research.
• Respond to RFP's and follow up with customer.

Educational Background and Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electronics or any related qualification will be considered.
• MBA will be highly considered
• Mobile market and business insight, basic data analysis capability and CXO (mainly CMO) engagement skill
• Communicating with internal and clients team members in a credible and confident way
• Working collaboratively and effectively in a group and proficient in agile ways of working
• Able to work proactively and independently whilst able to handle a degree of amibiguity and complexity.
• Ability to lead strategic high profile projects by providing business consulting and technical expertise.
• Translate ideas, concepts and plans into actionable programs with structured and measurable deliverables.
• Bringing a curious and creative mind-set , open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas
• Good understanding of technology road maps and industry trends with emphasis in the telecom and IT industry.
• Be willing to travel.
