We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Site Manager (Female)

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all phases of building construction in the absence of the site owner from the level it was handed over, to project closeout.
  • Plan, organize, and allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Regularly taking inventory of building materials in the site using excel or any other functional tool.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of milestones and deadlines.
  • Regularly updating the site owner to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with government, safety regulations, construction standards to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to identify and address potential issues, risks, and quality concerns.
  • Manage and monitor on-site teams, including laborers, to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Monitor project budget and expenses, adjusting as needed to control costs and maintain profitability.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports, project updates, and documentation to the site owner.
  • Handle any unexpected challenges, changes, or issues that may arise during construction, providing effective solutions and mitigations.
  • Foster positive relationships with laborers, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to promote collaboration and project success.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and sustainability practices throughout the construction process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Wide breadth of multi-functional knowledge and expertise in the construction space
  • Proven track record of successfully managing building construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience transforming and optimizing processes by driving people, process, and initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, strong facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Salary
N60,000 - N100,000 / month.
