We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cashier Nightlife

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Process all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures and policies. Follow cash control audit standards and cash handling procedures (e.g., blind drops).
• Performing shift duties like pre-bussing tables and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Ensure accuracy of monies, obtaining change required for expected business level, and keeping Cash secured at all times.
• Account for cash collected at the end of the shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure cash.
• Prepare bills and process payments
• Set up and organize cashier workstation with designated vouchers, and resource materials, and maintain cleanliness of the workstation at all times.
• Complete opening duties including setting up necessary point of sale and cash point tools, including and ensuring everything is in working order.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to the lounge standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Perform any other duty as shall be assigned by the Accountant or The General Manager
• Speak with others using clear and professional language using appropriate etiquette.
• Enter cash using point-of-sale systems and enter sales information using computers.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.
• Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system (e.g. POS)
• Cash register Management
• Basic Knowledge of Basic math and Bookkeeping skills
• Attentiveness and patience for customers
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Active listening and effective communication skills.
