Job Title: Auditor (Nightlife)

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Cash Controls Lists essential controls pertaining to handling cash receipts and deposits by servers, cashiers, bartenders, managers, and bookkeepers.
• Accounting & Financial Controls Identifies key internal controls in the areas of financial statements, accounting processes, and bookkeeping tasks.
• Purchasing Controls Focus on the ordering, purchasing, and receiving functions.
• Conduct risk assessment and identify controls in place to mitigate risks
• Assess, evaluate, and promote compliance with internal policies
• Plan financials. regulatory, compliance, or operational reviews/audits
• Work with external auditors/provide feedback on their performances
• Provide assistance with taxes whilst providing relevant documents to authorities and government revenue authorities
• Identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 5 years of work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting or any other related field.
• 1-3 years' experience in financial audit.
• A strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and interpretation.
• Proficient in Accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Strong communication skills.
• Professional Qualifications:
• ICAN or ACA or other internationally recognized professional qualifications (Desirable)
