Job Description
  • The Logistic Manager is responsible for proposing and setting up procedures and mechanisms for the logistics section; extending the timely logistical support to the organization's units/staff and visitors; ensuring a constant full assessment of the security situation and reporting to his supervisor any potential security related issue.
  • He is responsible for supply to the company of goods and services needed.
  • He is responsible for their delivery, recording, storage and maintenance (fixed assets, consumable goods).
  • He is responsible for the timely delivery of basic services (power, water, sanitation) as well as for the timely delivery of any third party’s services (contractors).
  • As Logistic Manager, the person is the Security Officer of the company, and has to ensure the security of the company by recommending to the management, and then implementing and monitoring all the decisions made by the management in this area.
Requirements
  • A minimum of first Degree in any discipline.
  • A Post graduate Degree in Business Administration or Social Sciences will be an Advantage.
  • Member of Institute of Supply Change Management (ISCM) will Be An Advantage.
  • A Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Logistic function with a strong awareness of best practice in Logistics Management.
  • Must be highly numerate and analytical with strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years post qualification work experience, out of which 5 must have been in the financial services industry.
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in developing and Implementing policies, procedures and achievement of Improved organizational outcomes.
  • Strategic management experience and ability to achieve results through people.
  • Experience in budget planning and implementation. knowledge.
  • In-depth knowledge of Banking and Financial Sector regulation.
  • Knowledge of basic accountancy skills and abilities.
  • Ability to lead or contribute to bank-wide initiatives
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Good documentation.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and paying attention to detail in all.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong numeric and analytical skills.
