Job Title: Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Project Executive (Waste Management) II
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Assist in the provision of waste management services to clients
- Assist the Management team when required in various tasks such as orienting new staff, providing guidance on day-to-day duties as necessary, assisting with hiring and disciplining as necessary and conducting meetings.
- Assign, direct and oversee activities of the Waste management Services department
- Coordinate and manage all aspects (field activities, subcontracted services, and reporting) and associated waste management and pollution control work.
- Provide proficiency in client interaction, proposal preparation, regulatory interaction, negotiation, technical writing, internal and external communication.
- Commit to achieving the goals outlined in the weekly Management Meetings
- Develop, implement, and sustain process improvement initiatives across the organization utilizing Lean methodologies.
- Lead safety awareness and performance improvement systems,
- Assist EHS Project Executive I and Line Manager in all his/her duties.
- Work collaboratively with a variety of functions and build relationships to enable improvements.
Requirements
- 6 months - 2 years of experience required.
- B.Sc degree in Environmental Science, Micro-biology, Bio-chemistry or other science related degrees.
- Solid communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Must be able to work independently and follow directions.
