Capricorn Marine Technologies Plc was incorporated in July 1998, to carry on business as Ship Builders, Boats and all water crafts building, repairs, refurbishment including but not limited to Tugs, barges, marine infrastructures etc. Import, manufacture, and distribute Ship spares, stores, ships, boats, docks etc and any other maritime trade as per the Memorandum and Articles of Association. The Company commenced operations in October 1998 and has since been very active in all aspects of the Ship and Boat building industry in Nigeria.

Job Description
You are expected to be able to perform the following duties:
General;
- Provides financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts; preparing reports.
Job Duties
- Maintains financial records for subsidiary companies by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
- Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
- Provides financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects.
- Corrects errors by posting adjusting journal entries.
- Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; adjusting entries for amortizations prepaids; analyzing and reconciling retainage and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential.
- Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- General Math Skills, Accounting, Deadline-Oriented, Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Coordination, Thoroughness, Quality Focus, Objectivity,
- ICAN (Qualified or Partly qualified), HND Accounting - a must,
- Experience - 2 years minimum in related field.
