We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Engineer (Solar Energy)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Qualifications

• Proficiency in the use of renewable energy modeling software such as PVsyst and Homer
• Proficiency in the design of solar PV systems using CAD software such as AutoCAD or integrated design software such as PV design, PVcase, etc.
• Strong understanding of Electrical Power Systems, Power Electronics, and/or Solar Energy
• Demonstrated interest in renewable energy systems
• Work experience or demonstrated familiarity with solar PV installations
• Demonstrated ability to independently supervise multi-stakeholder projects
• Clear effective communicator across diverse audiencesWrites clearly, professionally, and without grammatical error

Non-Negotiables

• 5+ years’ work experience in either power systems engineering, electrical transmission/distribution networks, building electrical engineering, or electrical generation in an industrial context is a must
• 2+ years’ work experience in solar PV construction with a top-tier firm is a must
• Working knowledge of battery storage technologies and the design of storage solutions is a must
• Working knowledge in the integration of solar PV systems with thermal generation assets such as diesel generators and HFO generators is a must
• Background in designing and implementing EHS policies for construction projects is a must.

Salary
N30,000,000 - N40,000,000 annually.
