Job Title: Porter

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Assist guests with their luggage, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
• Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel amenities and services.
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist with valet parking and coordinate vehicle retrieval for guests.
• Collaborate with front desk staff to fulfill guest requests and address any concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and points of interest to assist guests.
• Uphold a strong understanding of hotel facilities to provide accurate information to guests.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure timely delivery of items to guest rooms.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, especially those related to guest safety and security.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; further education in hospitality is a plus.
• 1 - 2 years work experience.
• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift and move luggage and other items as needed.
