We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Graduate Cargo Officer

Locations: Imo, Lagos & Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Handle shipment assessment and raising of shipment assessment advice (light parcels, bulky shipments, household items and charters etc)
• 100% inspection of items to be contracted on the waybill
• Properly identify, classify, mark, label and document shipment.
• Ascertain and advise the customer on the appropriate packaging required
• Correct price allocation of waybill types
• Raise payment advice for the customer to make payment
• Ensure proper / detailed description of items on the assessment advice or where not practicable use “as per attached list”. A copy of such list should accompany the waybill.
• Tagging and marking of waybills
• Supervise porters on proper packaging of shipments as advised in (b) above

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc in any discipline
• Must have completed NYSC program.
• 1-2 years work experience.
