We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Ejigbo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes and reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax filing processes.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial projections and analysis.
• Lead the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during the audit process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Not less than 5 years of proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
• Professional certification is a must.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• High ethical standards and commitment to financial integrity.
