Job Summary

• Our client is looking for abartender that canprovideexceptional guest experiences by creating and serving a variety of beverages to guests, ensuring the bar area is well-maintained, and delivering high-quality customer service. They are responsible for crafting cocktails, taking drink orders, engaging with guests, and maintaining a clean and organized bar space.

Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation:

• Prepare a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, adhering to standard recipes and hotel guidelines.
• Ensure that all beverages are presented attractively and in appropriate glassware.

Customer Service:

• Greet and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and offering menu recommendations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' inquiries, preferences, and special requests.

Mixology:

• Display creativity and skill in crafting unique cocktails while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
• Stay updated on the latest mixology trends and continuously expand knowledge of new drinks and techniques.

Order Management:

• Keep track of inventory levels for beverages, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies.
• Place orders for replenishing stock to ensure availability of ingredients and supplies.

Bar Maintenance:

• Maintain a clean and organized bar area by regularly cleaning surfaces, glassware, and utensils.
• Ensure that the bar setup is visually appealing and well-stocked at all times.

Compliance:

• Adhere to legal regulations related to alcohol service and consumption, including checking IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and intervene if guests show signs of intoxication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender in a similar establishment or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of different types of beverages, mixology techniques, and drink recipes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices and legal regulations.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Remuneration
N80,000 Monthly.
