Job Title: OCTG QA QC TPI Services Personnel

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures for OCTG products in accordance with API and industry standards.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of OCTG products, ensuring they meet specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, and radiographic testing.
• Interpret inspection results and collaborate with manufacturing teams to address non-conforming products.
• Review manufacturing processes and materials to identify potential quality issues and recommend improvements.
• Generate detailed inspection reports, including findings, test results, and compliance status.
• Collaborate with project teams to provide QA/QC support during all project phases.
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality requirements are met, and perform supplier audits as needed.
• Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and technological advancements related to OCTG products.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency within the inspection and QA/QC processes.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering
• 15 years and above in the relevant field
• Must have a valid International Well Control Forum (IWCF) certificate
• Valid BOSIET/HUET certificate
• Valid Offshore medical certificate confirming fitness to work offshore.
• Must be able to present a competence profile showing relevant experience in deepwater offshore rig
• Proficiency in computer usage

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 / month.
