We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Agro Commodities Procurement and Quality Control Officer
Location: Kano
Description
- Negotiating with suppliers for lower prices on raw materials or manufactured goods
- Coordinating shipping arrangements, including booking space on vessels and arranging for insurance
- Designing marketing campaigns to promote products or services to consumers
- Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that they are adequate to meet consumer demand while avoiding overstocking
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure that they continue to provide high-quality products and services at competitive prices
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure fair prices and terms of delivery
- Establishing pricing structures for commodities based on factors such as supply and demand, competition, and seasonality
- Researching market opportunities and creating business plans that present viable investment opportunities.
Qualifications Essential Desirable
- BSc in Agriculture, Crop Sciences, Agronomy, Plant Breeding, and any related field or any other related professional qualification.
- 4 to 5 years of working experience in agro commodities.
