A fast-growing and newly re-engineered Investment banking and Capital market operator with Head office in Lagos state, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Agro Commodity Dealer

Job Responsibilities

• Tracking market performance at domestic and international scale
• Executing commodities transactions based on specified terms
• Generating market leads for commodities transactions
• Keeping abreast of both Futures and forwards contracts that affect market trends
• Advising on preferred derivatives risk mitigation strategies
• Build trading positions for maximum profit while minimizing risk
• Ensuring proper logistics are implemented for delivery efficiency and terms adherence.
• Establish mutually beneficial relationships with all market participants
• Maintain timely communication with market participants across the value chain

Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Sc. in Agriculture, Business Administration, Finance or any social science-related course with a minimum of Second-Class Lower division
• Second Degree in any quantitative studies and relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage
• Must be dealing member of NGX
• 4-5 years proven relevant experience in commodity trading (Agro-products preferably)
• Work experience on the Agric desk of a bank will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
• Must have good financial knowledge
