Job Title: Motorcycle Dispatch Rider
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Typically, management contacts the dispatch rider/courier giving details of where and when to collect the package, and the destination address.
- Dispatch riders sign for the package on collection, and get an appropriate person to sign for it upon delivery.
- Transport and receive items quickly by motorcycle. Items can include packages, signed documents, legal documents, Messages, DVDs, gifts, instruments, shoes, clothes, or just about anything
- Keeping of motorcycle roadworthy
Requirements
- We're seeking physically fit IT and smartphone literate graduates to work as motorcycle dispatch riders in the built-up city of Lagos.
- This job demands experienced motorcyclists with a good knowledge of central Lagos who will be required to collect and deliver packages from our highly demanding clients.
Skills and Interests
As a motorcycle dispatch rider, you should:
- Enjoy motorcycling and be a skilled rider
- Be physically fit
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be able to work on your own
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills for delivery and expenses records
- Have the ability to read and follow guides, plan and learn routes
- Have a mature attitude
- Be friendly, honest and presentable
