Smart Partners Consulting Limited (SPCL) - Our client in the Transportation / Logistics Sector that provides Logistics Services for Inter and Intra State travelers in Nigeria, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Ticketing Officer

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Awka - Anambra & Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Expected Duties and Responsibilities

  • Arranges reservations and routing for passengers at request of TicketAgent.
  • Make and confirm reservations for transportation,using telephones, mail, and computers.
  • Answer inquiries regarding information such as schedules, procedures, and policies.
  • Inform clients of essential travel information, such as travel times.
  • Prepare customer invoices and accept payment.
  • Plans route and computes ticket cost, using schedules, rate books, andcomputer.
  • Answers inquiries
  • Determines whether space is available on travel dates requested bycustomer.
  • Check and validate all passenger payments for tickets/luggage and issue boarding passes.
  • Ensure proper documentation and prompt treatment/handling of all customer tickets inquiries.
  • Handle collection and processing of payment for all customers. (i.e. passengers or cargo/courier service clients).
  • Ensure proper and up to date documentation of all customer payments and reconcile with the Finance team.
  • Ensure all customer cargo are properly tagged for safety and security purposes.
  • Handle boarding announcements and communication of other exceptions promptly to all passengers.
  • Ensure feedback is properly communicated to customers within agreed and set timelines.
  • Ensure high standard in all customer correspondences, engaging customers with the highest level of professionalism, ensuring error-free and well-informed interactions.
  • Liaise/follow up with the relevant units to ensure requests and complaints are treated within agreed timelines.
  • Demonstrate innovation and creativity in the execution of all duties.

Requirements

  • OND / HND / B.Sc in any field
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Excellent customer service
  • Great written and oral communication
  • Data entry experience
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, such as copiers, scanners
  • Knowledge of the industry
  • Good marketing and communication skills
  • Should be familiar with online selling platforms like Amadeus and Galileo.

Salary
N50,000 Monthly.
