A brand-new Mats and Sacks company based in Kogi State is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Kogi

Job Brief

• Largely responsible for scheduling and assigning work orders and proactive maintenance tasks
• The Maintenance Engineer will also oversee tasks including the upkeep of offices, buildings, grounds and company vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Define and carry out weekly and monthly maintenance of the entire plant,
• Define maintenance program to enhance key plant equipment
• Resolve and execute maintenance solutions in case of machine breakdown,
• Daily test of mechanical equipment before start of production,
• Handle fabrication, operation, installation and repair of the mechanical equipment,
• Ensure production efficiency and achievement of goals, daily target,
• Drive Personal Protective Equivalent (PPE) compliance and work place safety and culture.
• General Operations of the Plant,
• Any other job that may be assigned to you by the Production Manager

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Degree or HND in Engineering
• At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role
• Ability to understand a variety of engineering procedures and functions
• Team-working skills to liaise and work cooperatively with individuals at all levels
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Interpersonal and people-management skills.
