A brand-new Mats and Sacks company based in Kogi State is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Kogi

Job Brief

• Our ideal candidate will design, control and implement electrical systems including delivering engineering projects on time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing power generation, transmission and distribution
• Working with high and low voltage equipment
• Managing and maintaining building services, such as lighting, heating, ventilation and lift systems
• Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical developments
• Drawing up project plans, making models, prototypes and circuit diagrams for high and low voltage electrical equipment
• Testing installations and systems
• Ensuring safety standards
• Ensuring regulatory compliance
• Liaison with Clients on similar functions
• Managing maintenance programs
• Other duties that may be assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Must have 3-5 years work experience in similar function
• Trade Test (Electrical)
• Knowledge of engineering science and technology
• Knowledge of computer and the main software packages confidently
• Design skills and knowledge
• Excellent verbal communication skills
