We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Well Drilling Engineering Services Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with geologists and project managers to plan drilling projects.
• Develop drilling plans, including well design, equipment selection, and drilling methods.
• Site Preparation and Environmental Compliance
• Oversee site preparation activities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
• Coordinate with environmental specialists to minimize impact on ecosystems.
• Manage drilling rig activities, equipment installation, and maintenance.
• Monitor drilling progress, assess geological formations, and adjust drilling parameters as needed.
• Maintain accurate drilling records and documentation.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect personnel, equipment, and the environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Develop and manage project budgets, optimizing resource allocation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies in drilling operations.
• Address technical challenges and unexpected issues during drilling operations.
• Propose and implement solutions to enhance drilling performance.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on drilling progress, geological findings, and operational metrics.
• Maintain comprehensive records of equipment maintenance and utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Professional engineering license or certification (if required).
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in well drilling operations.
• Proficiency in drilling software and technical tools.
• Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes.

Salary
N450,000 - N500,000 monthly.
