Job Title: Paediatrician
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, monitoring and treating children who are injured, ill or living with disabilities
- Performing comprehensive examinations on newborns and children to identify abnormalities and checking for normal growth and development
- Prescribing treatment methods, including administering medication, performing surgeries and other therapies
- Discussing diagnosis and treatment plans with parents and children
- Ordering tests and referring patients to Specialists
- Advising patients and their family members on medication use, nutrition and preventive measures
- Creating patients’ medical reports to support other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Medicine
- 5 - 7 years work experience.
- Experience in emergency room or intensive care
- Must have a Valid Practicing License
- Must be a Registered Paediatrician
- Must have strong clinical skills and have the ability to precept employees.
- Effective communication skills for service area.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work efficiently under time constraints
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Highly motivated team player willing to go the extra mile.
