Colors in Africa is a manufacturing and retailing company that began about 18 years ago, though it has only about 10 years in its major manufacturing operations. The company produces and retails home and hotel furniture ranges as well as home accessories and gift items.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Welder

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
As a welder / fabricator, you will be responsible for:

• Cutting, shaping, and joining metal parts using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques and equipment
• Reading and following blueprints, sketches, and specifications
• Inspecting and testing welds for quality and safety standards
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment and tools
• Following safety procedures and wearing protective gear
• Communicating and collaborating with other team members and clients

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• A welding certificate or relevant training
• At least 2-3 years of welding/fabrication experience
• Knowledge of different metals and their properties
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Physical strength and stamina
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
