Job Description

  • We are seeking to fill the role of a Sales Officer for their Edo and Delta region. The Sales Officer position is crucial for driving sales and revenue growth in our organization.
  • This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong client relationships, as well as identifying and acquiring new customers in the dynamic field of plastics manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve or surpass sales targets.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing customers to maximize satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and remain updated on industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Proactively follow up on sales inquiries and leads, skillfully converting them into successful sales transactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales-related expenses.
  • Prepare and submit regular, accurate, and timely sales reports, forecasts, and budgets, while also staying updated on industry trends and compliance.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the plastics manufacturing industry, preferably in sales or distribution.
  • Exceptional communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Strong understanding of plastics manufacturing processes and products.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and data analysis tools.
