Job Title: Church Administrator

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dedicated and organized Church Administrator to play a pivotal role in the efficient operation of our church community.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, managing church facilities, and supporting the pastor, workers, and congregation in various capacities.

Job Duties
Administrative Management:

  • Maintain and update church records, databases, and membership information
  • Manage church finances, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee the scheduling of church facilities for events and meetings.
  • Coordinate and prepare documents for church meetings, including agendas and minutes.

Communication:

  • Serve as a point of contact for church members, staff, and external partners.
  • Manage church communication channels, including email newsletters, social media, and the church website
  • Ensure effective communication of church events, announcements, and updates.

Event Coordination:

  • Organize and coordinate church events, including worship services, special services, and community outreach programs.
  • Arrange logistics, schedules, and resources for events and activities.
  • Collaborate with volunteers and church staff to ensure events run smoothly.

Volunteer Management:

  • Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for various church ministries and activities.
  • Maintain a volunteer database and schedule.

Facility Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of church facilities.
  • Manage repairs and renovations as needed.

Financial Management:

  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the church budget.
  • Process donations, keep financial records, and provide financial reports to the leadership.

The Person

  • Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in any business-related field.
  • 1+ year previous experience in church administration or a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using office software, databases, and online communication tools.
  • A commitment to the mission and values of Foursquare Gospel Church.

Skills Required:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership, staff, and volunteers.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

  • Salary Range - N120,000 - N200,000 per month.
