WAVE is solving what is arguably the biggest challenge on the continent: youth unemployment. In West Africa, 40-85% of youth, more than 50 million, are either unemployed or underemployed. Meanwhile, job creation in the region is on the rise. The disconnect between work-ready youth and the employment market must be bridged.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Baker

Location: Ijesha, Surulere - Lagos

Job Description
As a baker, you will be responsible for the following:

• Make sure the bakery is up and running with the necessary ingredients.
• Slice and package bread.
• Responsible for a clean and healthy working environment.
• Responsible for production reports on daily count, sliced and unsliced bread.
• And other duties as assigned by the bakery supervisor.

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

• A minimum of SSCE or its equivalent.
• At least one year of baking experience in a commercial setting.
• Good knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Salary Range 
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
