Job Title: Poultry Supervisor

Locations: Lagos & Ogun

Job Summary

• A Poultry Supervisor will play a pivotal role in managing our poultry farm, ensuring the health, welfare, and productivity of our poultry stock.
• You will be responsible for supervising farm workers, implementing best practices, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Poultry Care: Oversee the care, feeding, and housing of poultry, including chickens, turkeys, or other poultry stock.
• Health Monitoring: Monitor poultry health, identify diseases or issues, and implement appropriate treatment or prevention measures.
• Feeding and Nutrition: Ensure poultry receive proper nutrition and access to clean water, adjusting diets as needed.
• Breeding and Egg Production: Manage breeding programs and monitor egg production for quality and quantity.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of poultry health, egg production, and farm activities.
• Team Management: Supervise farm workers, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring compliance with safety and animal welfare standards.
• Facility Maintenance: Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of poultry housing and equipment.
• Biosecurity: Implement and enforce biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards governing poultry farming.
• Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and management related to poultry operations.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees with 1+ years relevant work experience.
