Job Description

  • As the Head Chef at R-Fantazia Fast Food and Lounge, you will be responsible for creating and executing a culinary vision that aligns with our restaurant's concept and ensures an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
  • You will lead a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff, overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative and seasonally inspired menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and meet our guests' expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation, consistently delivering exceptional dishes.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients to bring fresh ideas to the menu.
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Ensure that food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain inventory control and oversee ordering of ingredients and supplies.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and creativity.
  • Set performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and provide coaching and feedback to kitchen team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment in the kitchen.
  • Control food and labor costs by implementing efficient kitchen processes and portion control measures.
  • Work closely with management to develop and manage the kitchen budget.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effective sourcing of ingredients.

Qualifications

  • Culinary Degrees or relevant Culinary certifications with 5+ years relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or lounge.
  • Creative and innovative approach to menu planning and execution.
  • Ability to create recipes
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary trends, techniques, and ingredient sourcing.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
