Job Title: Music Teacher

Responsibilities

• Applying instructional activities that actively engage students in meaningful learning experiences and ensuring continual student growth and achievement in the subject
• Developing and promoting the appropriate skills and social abilities to allow the optimum progress of the children, according to age, ability and aptitude
• Prepare students for competition and other musical performances.

Qualifications and skills

• Applicant must possess a minimum of First Degree in area of subject, Music or Music Education - B.Sc + NCE/B.Sc (Ed)/B.Ed /PGDE/PDE/M.Ed; MUSON Certified and IGCSE qualification and experience will be an advantage
• Candidate must have a minimum of four years cognate experience and a compelling knowledge of at least three musical instruments and the ability to play at least two of them well
• Candidate must have the ability to prepare students for competitions and musical certifications
• Inspiring, hard-working, dedicated and ability to go the extra mile is generally required.
