Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher to join our team of educators.
• The Math Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality math instruction to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting a love for mathematics.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mathematics, effective teaching skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students to excel in math.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging math curriculum that aligns with state and/or national standards.
• Instruction: Deliver effective math lessons that cater to various learning styles and abilities, ensuring student comprehension and engagement.
• Assessment: Create, administer, and grade assessments to evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and conducive classroom environment, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere for learning.
• Differentiation: Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with different abilities and learning challenges.
• Technology Integration: Incorporate technology and educational software/tools to enhance math instruction and support students' digital literacy.
• Individualized Support: Provide additional support to students who require extra help, including tutoring and personalized instruction.
• Parent/Guardian Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and academic concerns.
• Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest educational trends and research in mathematics teaching, attending relevant workshops and training sessions.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators to foster a cooperative and effective learning environment.
• Classroom Resources: Manage and maintain classroom resources, including textbooks, materials, and technology equipment.
• Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, following school policies and procedures

Requirements

• Candidates should possess B.Ed Degrees with a strong background in Mathematics and 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.

Salary
N60,000 - N80,000 Monthly.
