Job Description

• We are currently seeking a dedicated and friendly Food Runner to join our team. If you have a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to be a part of a dynamic restaurant environment, we’d love to hear from you.
• As a Food Runner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately.
• Your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will enhance the overall dining experience for our customers.
• You will work closely with our kitchen staff to deliver delicious meals and maintain a smooth service flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of food orders to tables.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to coordinate the timing of food delivery.
• Assist in garnishing and presenting dishes before they are served.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and special requests.
• Clear and reset tables, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining area.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
• Uphold high standards of food presentation and quality.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Assist in restocking dining room supplies as needed.
• Assist with any other tasks or duties assigned by the restaurant manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is a plus but not required.
• A Food Handler’s Certificate or similar certification is a plus.
• Can commute to work within 15 – 30 minutes
