Job Title: Mid-Level Lawyer
Location: Lagos

Principal Accountabilities
- Established research and writing capabilities
- Drafted demand letters, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Taken/defended depositions
- Prepare Legal advice and opinions
- Prepare legal opinions and reports on a wide variety of issues with limited supervision
- Taking responsibility for daily management of instructions; Ability to conceptualize facts and review applicable law for an in-depth analysis of issues
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents
- Strategically counsel clients and potential clients on legal matters
- Identify legal or contractual issues and develop new approaches to resolve complex issues
- Provide legal advice to senior management regarding various corporate and business matters
- Remain current on federal and state laws, regulations, and practices affecting the company business
- Manage relationships and collaborate with co-counsel
Qualifications / Skills
- LL.M with exceptional academic credentials
- 3-5 years of experience at a law firm or within an in-house legal department
- Must possess a strong academic record from a top law school
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent business judgment and high level of professionalism
- Ability to work in teams
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
