Job Brief

• A Consulting company is currently looking for a Junior Auditor with some years of experience, if you are one you may consider this job advert as detailed below.

Job Responsibilities

• Reviewing the client’s financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements
• Reviewing a company’s accounting procedures to ensure that they are being followed correctly
• Reviewing records to ensure that they are accurate and complete according to company standards
• Monitoring cash flow and identifying problems with cash flow in order to prevent problems from occurring in the future
• Investigating irregularities in financial records to determine whether any accounting fraud has occurred
• Performing audits of financial records to ensure that they are accurate and comply with regulations
• Observing how accounting staff interact with clients or customers in order to ensure that they are providing quality customer service
• Reviewing financial records for accuracy and identifying any potential issues that may require further investigation
• Identifying any errors in accounting practices or procedures and recommending solutions
• Monitor closure of end-of-month close procedures.

Qualification

• Minimum Educational standard: OND, B.Sc. / HND in Accounting.

Experience:

• Minimum Working Experience: Three (3) Years and above.

Job Requirements, Skills & Attitude:

• Must have worked in an Audit firm previously.
• Analyze and verify financial records.
• Assist and learn from more experienced Auditors in the execution of a high-quality audit for variety of clients in different industries
• Learn, understand and apply the right Audit Methodology while preparing clear and well-structured audit documentation
• Collaborate with engagement teams and client representatives.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / month.
