Position Overview

• As a Logistics Operations Manager at FoodCourt, your primary focus will be on overseeing the efficient last-mile delivery of orders to our customers in Lagos, Nigeria.
• You will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, ultimately contributing to the success and reputation of our food-tech company.

Key Responsibilities
Last-Mile Delivery Coordination:

• Plan and coordinate the last-mile delivery of customer orders within Lagos and surrounding areas.
• Optimize delivery routes and schedules for efficiency and on-time delivery.

Quality Control:

• Establish and enforce quality control standards for order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular quality inspections of delivery processes.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of delivery personnel.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance delivery team.

Cost Management:

• Monitor delivery-related expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure efficient use of delivery resources.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in Lagos and Nigeria for last-mile delivery.
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols within the delivery department.

Reporting and Analytics:

• Generate regular reports on delivery performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience in last-mile delivery and logistics management, preferably in the food service or food-tech industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
• Knowledge of delivery regulations and best practices in Lagos and Nigeria.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
