Job Summary

• On behalf of our client, a leading roofing company in Nigeria, we are recruiting for the role of Managing Director.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the company's strategy, business growth, and brand enhancement.
• The ideal candidate must have a track record of profitably scaling a roofing company while promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the company
• Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing business strategies and plans
• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the company
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics, including financial P&L performance and market share
• Prepare and present reports to the board of directors, keeping them informed of important developments and progress towards strategic objectives
• Ensure the company complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 15 years experience in construction or a related industry, with at least 6 years of experience in a senior management role
• Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record in leading and motivating teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong financial acumen with experience in overseeing budgets, financial statements, and P&L management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to identify and address complex issues and make sound decisions
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the industry
