Job Description

• We are currently seeking a customer-focused and friendly individual to join our team as a barman who will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere in the hotel bar.
• They will prepare and serve beverages and snacks, maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders for beverages and snacks
• Prepare and serve drinks according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to serving alcohol
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and making recommendations
• Follow all safety and security procedures
• Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for events and functions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years relevant work experience.
• Previous experience as a bartender or barista preferred
• Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to serving alcohol
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.

Working Conditions

• The barman will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with customers.
• They may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• The position may require lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods of time.
