Job Description

• A British School in Awka, Anambra State, is in need of an experienced economics teacher. The Economics Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality economics education to students, inspiring them to excel in their studies.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in economics, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage students in the subject.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective economics lessons to students.
• Develop and implement the economics curriculum in line with educational standards.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and interactive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
• Stay updated on economic trends and incorporate real-world examples into lessons.
• Assist students with academic and career guidance related to economics.
• Participate in extracurricular economics-related activities as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a BEd / PGDE qualification with at least 5 years work experience.

Salary
N100,000 / month.
