Position Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Professional Architect to join our team.
• As a Professional Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings and structures, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong design sensibility, extensive technical knowledge, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, sketches, and detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design tools.
• Prepare and present architectural proposals, including 2D and 3D visualizations, for review and approval.
• Incorporate sustainable design principles and practices into architectural solutions to promote energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
• Produce comprehensive architectural drawings, plans, and specifications for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in architecture, incorporating them into design processes and projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders, providing clear and concise explanations of design concepts and decisions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
• Professional registration with the appropriate architectural regulatory body (e.g., Architects Registration Council of Nigeria, ARCON).
• Proven experience working as a Professional Architect, with a strong portfolio of completed architectural projects.
• Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Strong design and visualization skills, with the ability to create compelling 2D and 3D representations of architectural concepts.
• Excellent knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
