Job Title: Financial Reporting and Consolidation Officer

Level: Analyst

Job Purpose

  • The Financial reporting and consolidation analyst is in charge of producing periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and yearly) and ensuring reports depicts accurately the financial health and position of the business at the different entity levels and group levels. Preparation of the audited financial statement is his primary responsibility.

Core Functions / Responsibilities
Reporting:

  • Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and controls.
  • Coordinate, develop, and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process.
  • Monitor legislative, regulatory, and international reporting developments and communicate the changes effectively within the organization.

Consolidation:

  • Reviews the financial statement of subsidiaries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Consolidates and supervises the preparation of the group’s financial reports

Operations:

  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Continuing to improve the payment process.

Audit:

  • Ensure the completion of the yearly audited exercise within the agreed timeframe and with zero exception.

Strategy:

  • Participate in the formation of the Group’s strategy.

Profile

  • 2 years of Finance experience
  • Understanding of accounting (IFRS)
  • Strong numerical & reconciliation skills and attention to detail
  • Professional Qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, CFA …) or in progress.
